Object/Picture Talk Kit
The purpose of Object/Picture Talk Kit is to provide a basic means of communication for individuals who have difficulty expressing their needs orally and cannot be understood by others. It also can be used as an effective tool in therapy to improve auditory and visual comprehension and to expand expressive language. This is not a substitute for speech, but rather it should be used to augment and supplement the communication system.
Object/Picture Talk kits are designed for people with communication difficulties such as aphasia; multiple sclerosis and other neurological disorders; mental retardation and other brain dysfunctions; voice, hearing, and visual difficulties; and postoperative problems.
Communication Picture Book
- Non glare vinyl for the pages and/or pockets designed to reduce copy-toner transfers.
- Reinforced spines to hold up longer under abuse.
- Grommets on the smaller display books. A grommet is a small hole with a metal ring around it that allows you to attach a cord, chain, or key ring. For those who lose their aids easily, this may be the answer.
- Blank grids designed to fit each display item may be purchased separately.
Hip Talk
Perfect for kids and adults alike, our unique Hip Talk communicators play messages at the push of a button. To activate, simply reach to the waist and press. You can record and re-record messages as often as you like. Hip Talk is available in two styles: two and four message models which come in a soft, nylon zippered pack with a waist strap. Features large recessed switch plate(s) on top for easy access.
Easy Talk
The EasyTalk is a compact, lightweight (2.1 pounds), easy to use communication device with up to 56 minutes of high-quality digitized recording. Thanks to the EasyTalk's eight recording levels, ET communicators have greater opportunity for expression.
Because the recording feature allows you to record anyone's voice (man, woman, or child), it will naturally record in any language.
Users able to operate 1 or 2 switches or a joystick, have complete access to any message stored at any level on the EasyTalk. There are four scanning options: Row/Column, Linear, Vertical and Horizontal.
